From the heart

The art that I create from the heart always is more satisfying, and this piece is no exception:

I painted it for a friend whose beloved companion had passed away. I also knew and loved this little dog, so her portrait came from the heart as well as from memory.

Here’s a different angle:

I chose iridescent paints, so that the image would change depending on the light. And I hope I captured some of her peaceful nature.
