I like watching the paintings as they settle and dry. Often I see subtleties that I absolutely fall in love with after the paint has had a chance to bond with the canvas. For example, this one:
Here it is right after the flip cup and some tilting. I love the cells and the way the colors have arranged themselves.
And now that it is dry:
I can see a fairy inside a purple calla lily. So I have named this piece Fairy Queen. Can you see her?
